Patience and Wisdom

My brother sent this picture, with the message that living well requires Patience and Wisdom.

I can attest that my dogs will never have either.  They have been skunked twice, and I am positive they would be skunked again if they had the chance.  Oddly, I don't think the requirement of patience and wisdom for living well applies to them;  they would rather chase and eliminate vermin, and feel finest when doing so, regardless of the consequences.

This has got to be one of the best photo's ever on a blog. Pleased we don't have skunks.... look cute, maybe not smell so great. We have a few in the Houses of Parliment though..... or so I have been told!
Love the dogs face. Think he should be a regular on the blog. Great. Love it.

I keep coming back to the photo of this dogs face.
Wow.... beautiful boy.... OK..... what did you call the skunk...........?
No smart answers please!

I will let this Looney Tunes segment on You Tube speak for me:

HA! That's excellent!! Fortunately in our neck of the woods we don't encounter very many skunks making to the homes. We do get racoons though...

Raccoons are bad! They are destructive, carry disease and can hurt your dog in an encounter.

I live-trapped thirteen coons one summer, and stopped because I got tired of dealing with them, as well as my boy dog. He kept waking me up to go check the trap in the middle of the night.
