Animal A-B-C's

This is the first animal I painted for our first grandchild, Michaela.  It was the beginning of my Animal Alphabet book project.  26 letters, 26 pages, 26 paintings in watercolor.  Maybe I shouldn't have promised a unique book for each child.

Michaela and Jack have received their books, and I am working on Carrie's.  She is old enough to ask me which letter/animal I am currently painting.  When the book is done, I will print copies on heavy paper and present Carrie with her own personal first edition.

We now have two more granddaughters after Carrie.  I'll be busy for awhile.
